The primary focus of this role is to own the structural support for our channel programs and provide the proper data to identify what is working, what isn't working, and where we can improve.  You'll evaluate data about our channel programs, sales process, CRM implementation, dashboards, reporting, market trends, and individual fields sales support.

Being part of the Channel Programs group, you'll also be responsible to call individuals that have specifically requested information on our channel programs, or you'll call existing clients to offer guidance through partner onboarding. This requires communication utilizing WebEx and occasional face-to-face interaction. This individual must be very comfortable presenting and being a content expert, with the ability to overcome objections and effectively deliver channel program messaging to the field organization. The great news is that you don't have to close the sale, all you do is provide information about Control4 and then connect them back to our field sales organization and/or a Control4 dealer.

As a member of our sales operations team, you will be a critical cog in the sales organization to drive the direction and decision-making process behind our channel programs.  You'll work directly with the Director of Channel Programs to develop the strategy that will impact our Sales Directors, Area Sales Managers, Inside Sales Managers, and Lead Generation Specialists daily work activities.

  • Understand and use a hypothesis-driven approach to strategy development.

  • Identifying revenue channel program market opportunities through communication, programs, and other activities as needed.
  • Collaborating with marketing, field sales, training, and product management to facilitate messages, campaigns, and offerings.
  • Conduct channel program WebEx calls with channel partners, fields sales organization, and Control4 dealers as a content expert. Then assign, delegate, and provide accountability for the sales process of channel programs.
  • Making outbound calls to current Control4 Dealers to explain channel programs and generate channel interest.
  • Respond daily to requests from channel partners, fields sales organization, and Control4 dealers.
  • Minimal travel expected in market to meet with channel partners, fields sales organization, and Control4 dealers.


  • com experience a must (Reporting, Dashboards, etc....)
  • Working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators


  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
  • 2-5 years experience with IT and business analytics
  • Outstanding customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a strong "phone" persona, are a must.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Detailed oriented, excellent follow-up
  • Self-starter, able to work well within a team.
  • Able to travel as needed, less than 25% overnight.
