The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for business development within the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordics. The Regional Sales Director will have financial targets, direct sales team and support resources to facilitate to establish and grow the customer base, channel, and the influence community in the region.


  • The Regional Sales Director of the UK will have geographic responsibility for our business in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordic markets.
  • The Regional Sales Director will have a team reporting to this individual to be directly responsible (initially) for sales in the territories of Northern UK, Southwest UK, London, and the Nordic markets while this individual will be expected to directly manage a handful of other accounts.
  • The Regional Sales Director will be required to develop and maintain an effective regional sales plan of advancing product adoption, dealer development, revenue performance and geographic coverage.
  • The Regional Sales Director will also be responsible for defining and driving the business development agenda in the region including channel recruitment, development, as well as act as our spokesperson with the key influencer groups (e.g. designers, architects)
  • The Regional Sales Director will also coordinate local technical field management, support and training in a matrix organization with functional managers in Utah.
  • The Regional Sales Director will be required to travel extensively to interface with the primary accounts and build team capabilities to optimize their performance.
  • The Regional Sales Director will need to be able to present the Control4 vision and story to dealers, distributors, and home-owners in a professional, articulate & persuasive manner.
  • The Regional Sales Director will also need to understand the technical functionality of the Control4 equipment and be able to assist on-site when necessary with installation problems.
  • The Regional Sales Director will be responsible to develop and maintain financial budgets for the team.



  • Previous experience with Control4 or other automation products in the U.K. building the business.
  • Proven track record as a general manager of a team of multiple functions to orchestrate maximum local impact.
  • Proven track record in achieving significant revenue growth with exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets of a channel-based technology business.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • IP, AV, Networking, & Automation experience.



  • Candidate must be reside in the greater London area.
  • College bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Prior consumer electronics or retail sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office productivity tools.
  • Proven ability to work with people of varied backgrounds to achieve objectives
  • Able to travel 50%
  • Able to obtain or currently hold a passport for international travel
  • Possess solid business judgement in assessing business
  • Skilled in creative problem solving, critical thinking, and organizing resources, and people to solve problems
