Come test software and hardware for the most exciting, cutting edge, smart home automation products on the market. Our Draper, Utah based Engineering Quality Assurance team handles all the front line QA for almost ALL products Control4 engineers.  You'll get to test THE most exciting, market leading products BEFORE they have even been announced to the public.  We can't tell you what we're currently testing BUT we can tell you some of the awesome, award winning products that we have helped bring to market in the past! Control4 OS 2.10 was awarded Best Automation Device at CES 2018 and our "When Then Automation" received the Dealerscope 2018 IMPACT Awards.

We are constantly developing new testing methods and one day is never like the next.  You'll have the opportunity to work with oscilloscopes, logic probes and other electronic testing equipment one week and then the next week you are automating that equipment in python. You'll also get to work with 3D printers, design circuit boards, and create large scale lighting panels in order to test the products we develop.

The QA team is a highly collaborative group that works hand in hand-in-hand with our engineers.  The department leader regularly holds training meetings to discuss QA best practices and how to write a test.  In addition, you can expect regular one-on-one meetings were you'll discuss things such as your career progression. Maybe you see yourself as a QA Engineer/Engineer in Test or maybe you see yourself as a future Software Engineer, either option is a possibility at Control4.
