TITLE:  Inside Sales Manager (ISM)


REPORTS TO: Manager, Inside Sales


The position:

The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing dealers, supporting the field sales organization by speaking with targeted dealers to drive adoption of Pakedge solutions and programs. This position and team will have two main areas of focus:  B2B sales opportunity and transactional focus,  and should be comfortable with a quota-carrying position.


How you'll contribute:

  • Collaborating frequently with manager.
  • Learning the full range of Control4 technology, products, and services.
  • Articulating to dealers how products and services align to their customer needs.
  • Explaining technical, industry, and market facts to position Control4 as a competitive solution.
  • Cooperating with colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process.
  • Occasional involvement in outside sales with dealer support.


Your skills and abilities:

  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with computers and technology and comfortable using the Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Outlook, and Salesforce.

  • Open to receiving constructive criticism (feedback), applying, and integrating the feedback in an effort to improve results.
  • Good judgment in analyzing information to make routine decisions.

Your education and experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce is required to contribute and update data for understanding/segmentation of dealer base.
  • 1-3 years software or enterprise selling a plus (but not required).
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of an outbound telesales center
  • Experience with CRM databases
  • B2B sales experience (over the phone is a plus)
  • Background in networking and network infrastructure
  • Experience in the CEDIA or consumer electronics channel is a plus.
