If hired, you'll plan, perform and be accountable for all aspects of the Quality Engineering function for the Dealer Tools product team.  Work performance is in conformance with quality standards and requirements.  Interfaces with all departments in Control4 organization for product performance, functional testing, system enhancements, and general support.



  • Test Control4 hardware and software to verify that it against predetermined specifications and report defects.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing performance and load testing scripts.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation framework for regression testing using development skills.
  • Automate various other tasks within Quality Assurance to make testing more efficient.
  • Participate in "Bug Scrum."
  • Review functional, marketing and design specifications, participate in product design discussions and assure that quality is inherent to the design.
  • Can understand and develop automation tools using: C++, C#, .NET, scripting languages, build, XML, SCM.
  • Understands REST APIs and HTML
  • Other duties as assigned.



QA Engineer (Level II)

  • Set up different Testing Environments for SDLC (software development life cycle).
  • Work with development team to review & understand software components to ensure effective testing.
  • Design and implement automated test scripts.
  • Prepare reports of conclusions and recommend changes or modifications.
  • Utilize appropriate statistical methods to analyze data and interpret results.
  • 6+ years of experience developing and implementing code.



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years' experience developing and implementing code or testing software and/or hardware.
  • Experience working in Quality Assurance and identifying and debugging code.
